Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Unit team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with varying diagnoses, including knee/hip replacements, spinal surgeries, infected joints, and amputations.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in educational programs and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state.
  • AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent.
  • 3 years of clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic Health Care Experience.
  • Experience with similar patient population in either an acute care setting or as applicable to area of practice.
