Job Opportunity

CircleCI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Manager to join our Legal team. As a key member of our team, you will provide sound and timely commercial legal advice to support the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, redline, draft, and finalize various governing agreements and related documents, including SaaS, software license, reseller, and systems integrator agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external parties to ensure efficient workflow and request/change management.
  • Perform general contract and administrative support, including inter-departmental coordination of legal matters.
  • Utilize various software applications to maintain and manage contracts and processes, driving efficiency and internal alignment.
  • Manage or participate in various Legal projects as needed.
  • Support the Legal team in meeting its Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Results (OKRs).

Requirements:

  • College degree, professional certification, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a contract manager and/or paralegal, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong issue-spotting and redlining skills to manage legal risk quickly and equitably.
  • Ability to work with Sales teams and compatible experience with various applications, including Adobe Professional, DealHub, DocuSign, Google Workspace, HubSpot, LinkSquares, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and information security regulations and associated documentation, including GDPR and CCPA.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, adjusting easily to shifting priorities, process change, and risk tolerance.
  • Extremely organized and resourceful with a high attention to detail.
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills to work on a team in a proactive and service-oriented manner.
  • Commitment to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and respect.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
