Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide rehabilitation services to patients. In this role, you will develop and implement treatment plans to enhance patients' swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities while reducing aspiration risks. You will lead and guide the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Your responsibilities will include developing individualized treatment plans, implementing therapeutic techniques, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, leading and directing speech-language pathology services, maintaining accurate documentation, educating patients and families, and meeting the educational requirements for licensure. The ideal candidate will have a valid, unrestricted SLP license in the state of Washington, a minimum of 2 years of SLP experience, and CCC certification. A valid driver's license in the state of employment is also required. The successful candidate will have familiarity with skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
