About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to provide high-quality patient care in our Telemetry/Med-Surg department. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Collect and document patient data as directed by the RN and department standards.
- Assist in implementing a plan of care developed by an RN.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
- Demonstrate competency in selected psychomotor skills within the LPN scope of practice.
- Assist patients and families in learning self-care techniques as directed by the RN and patient teaching guidelines.
- Document concise, accurate, and timely information in the patient care record.
- Respect patient and significant others' rights, including confidentiality.
- Follow established safety standards and emergency response procedures.
- Michigan Practical Nurse licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) provider certification.
- Experience in obstetrics, including antepartum, postpartum, and neonatal care, is preferred.
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification is preferred.
