Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in General Accounting or similar fields
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Xero, Microsoft Office suite, and Slack
  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end closing activities for all assigned accounts in a timely manner
  • Prepare and record necessary journal entries
  • Conduct detailed analyses to identify discrepancies and assess trends
  • Reconcile accounts and compile supporting documentation to substantiate account balances
  • Facilitate documentation and communication for external audits
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to outline new and existing processes, recommending and implementing improvements as required
  • Engage in special projects and reporting as needed

Accountability

  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and follow-up capabilities, managing competing priorities effectively to meet all deadlines.
  • Ability to accurately follow and give instructions; proactive in seeking clarification to ensure work aligns with desired outcomes.

Client Relations

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to address the needs and requests of multiple clients.
