Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide exceptional customer service and act as a liaison between the Account Management team and the Carrier Management team.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and other partners to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Logistics and Operations
    • Manage shipments, tenders, and scheduling to ensure smooth operations.
    • Work closely with the Carrier Management team to ensure compliance with customer policies and procedures.
    • Utilize external pricing and reporting tools to optimize profitability.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership
    • Work collaboratively with other departments to meet customer business needs.
    • Assist the Logistics Account Manager in managing pod members and communication lines.
    • Act as a lead Logistics Coordinator for at least 4 weeks per year as needed.
  • Administrative and Data Management
    • Accurately record data into internal systems, including TMS, Excel, and workflow checklists.
    • Provide oral and written correspondence, effectively present information, and respond to questions from customers, team members, and managers.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
    • Minimum 1 year of industry-specific experience with knowledge in LTL freight, 3PL, shipping, and supportive technologies.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
