Position Overview

This distinctive role focuses on overseeing the recently launched SAS commission management system (Varicent ICM) while providing essential support to the sales team. The key responsibilities will involve ensuring that incentive compensation is accurately calculated and reported. We seek an individual who excels in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates quick learning abilities, proactively addresses challenges, and possesses excellent communication skills. This position requires collaboration with colleagues and various business partners to define business requirements, implement solutions, modify commission plans, design new incentive structures, and generate reports within the commission system.

Core Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of Lease commission structures and associated data.
  • Work alongside team members and business partners to identify optimal ICM solutions that meet commission plan specifications.
  • Implement and validate changes to commission plans as directed by Sales leadership.
  • Assess time and effort required for changes, prioritize tasks, document decisions, and communicate timelines effectively.
  • Engage with the Sales team to clarify calculations and address inquiries regarding commission payouts.
  • Document existing policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Deliver ICM training to team members.
  • Create and maintain training materials for ICM.
  • Collaborate with internal and external financial and compliance auditors.
  • Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to enhance processes and solutions.
  • Partner with IT to design and implement data exchanges with other systems (e.g., ERP).
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases, capturing results to validate functionality changes.

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (working knowledge of SQL is preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and methodical problem-solving abilities.
  • Project management skills, particularly in managing requests for incentive calculation and reporting modifications.
  • Ability to foster and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels (peers, workgroups, internal customers, leadership).
  • Ability to interact with both external and internal auditors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a business analyst.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in systems configuration and development.
  • Education or experience in accounting/finance is preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Experience providing accounting/finance support to a sales/marketing organization is preferred.
  • Experience in a large corporate setting is preferred.

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including relevant experience, education, work location, market data/ranges, internal equity, and internal salary ranges.

Pay Type:

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: 90,000.00

Maximum Pay Range: 100,000.00

The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
