Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and maintenance staff, to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Prepare and present project reports, recommendations, and proposals to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • State registration as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) and progress toward registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Washington.
  • Washington state driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in CADD, Bluebeam, GIS, and Western Washington Hydrology Model.
  • Experience with grant writing and funding sources.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires occasional evening meetings and travel within the city limits. The incumbent will work in a standard office setting with frequent interaction with City staff and the general public.
