Job Title: Loan Processing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Loan Processing Specialist to join our team at Deraaff Capital and Raven3 Home Buyers. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for managing the loan process from origination to close, ensuring compliance with current lending policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order property and loan documentation, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, and contracts, to facilitate mortgage loan processing.
  • Liaise with the underwriting department, loan originators, real estate agents, and applicants to ensure smooth loan approval.
  • Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial.
  • Collect and verify financial documentation, such as credit reports, to complete mortgage loan applications and determine creditworthiness.
  • Interview prospective loan applicants and assist them in finding suitable loan products.

Requirements:

  • FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan product knowledge and mortgage lending experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in loan processing.
  • Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Accounting, finance, or business Associate's degree preferred; High school diploma or GED required.

Compensation: $75,000
