Role Summary

In this position, the individual will be responsible for fulfilling essential duties to a high standard. The responsibilities include:
  • Evaluating risk factors, underwriting, and selecting markets based on comprehensive documentation analysis.
  • Authorizing, pricing, and securing insurance coverage within established underwriting guidelines.
  • Preparing submissions and negotiating with insurance providers on specific cases.
  • Interacting with account executives, clients, and underwriters to collect additional information, provide rate estimates, or manage existing accounts.
  • Assisting sales and support teams in addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Adapting to changing business needs by taking on additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
  • Required: A valid Delaware Insurance Agent's license.
  • Proven knowledge of insurance policies with the ability to explain them clearly to clients.
  • Professional conduct in both telephone and in-person communications.
  • Strong communication skills for presentations and addressing questions from various stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, completing tasks within defined guidelines, routines, and industry standards.
