Overview

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Graduate Landscape Designer to join our Minnetonka, Minnesota Land Development team. As a key member of our collaborative and integrated team, you will work alongside landscape architects, civil engineers, planners, surveyors, environmental scientists, and transportation engineers to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement design and graphic production standards, ensuring consistency and quality in our deliverables.
  • Analyze land features, regulatory codes, and comprehensive plans to inform design decisions.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and inform design solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients, staff, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
  • Research and select construction materials, ensuring sustainability and quality.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of creative, sound solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field.
  • 0-4 years of professional experience in landscape design or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to self-regulate multiple assignments and deadlines.
