Position Overview

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for managing a designated portfolio of credit clients, ensuring effective oversight and control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee and maintain a dedicated portfolio of credit customers.
  • Collection Activities: Execute daily collection efforts to guarantee timely payment from customers in accordance with agreed terms.
  • Account Reconciliation: Allocate unapplied cash and credit notes to ensure customer accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Cash Application Support: Assist in identifying payments for cash application processes.
  • Credit Information Maintenance: Keep customer credit data current and accurate.
  • Order Review: Conduct daily reviews of orders placed on credit hold.
  • Credit Evaluation: Perform credit assessments for both new and existing clients.
  • Legal File Management: Manage legal files related to collections, including liaising with collection agencies and legal representatives.
  • Account Statements: Provide customers with detailed account statements as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Special Projects: Undertake specific tasks such as supporting the Letter of Credit process and Cash Against Documents as assigned.
  • Accounting Duties: Execute additional accounting responsibilities and journal entries as required.
  • Rebate Management: Review, calculate, and post customer rebates.
  • General Ledger Processes: Conduct reviews, calculations, and journal entries related to general ledger accounting.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare internal financial reports as necessary.
  • Account Reconciliation: Analyze and reconcile various balance sheet accounts while maintaining supporting documentation.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and internal control measures.
