Fleet Operations Manager

The Fleet Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance shop, ensuring the efficient management of labor, resources, and equipment to meet business objectives. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team of technicians and support staff, as well as the ability to analyze and optimize shop processes to improve productivity and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations, with experience in labor planning, workforce management, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Develop and implement labor plans to meet business objectives, balancing labor and resource allocation to maximize productivity and quality.
- Analyze and optimize shop processes to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer service and repairs.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in maintenance operations, with a strong background in labor planning and workforce management.
- Proven track record of improving productivity and quality in a maintenance shop environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of technicians and support staff.
- Ability to analyze and optimize shop processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Experience with quality control procedures and compliance with company standards and regulations.
