As a Ramp Manager at Alliance Ground International, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ground handling services. This position requires a strong leader who can manage and direct ramp activities, providing a safe and quality product to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and control all staff assignments to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Hold daily briefings with all levels of management to discuss operational plans and address any concerns.
- Provide support to front-line management to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks.
- Coach and train employees to improve operations and enhance their skills.
- Ensure workforce adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining a culture of safety and quality.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a College degree diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of Ramp Supervisor experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Ramp Operations.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Leadership ability.
- Customer focus and quality awareness.
- Ability to deal with conflict.
- Must pass background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces.
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
Alliance Ground International operates 24/7, with three operational shifts. Employees are required to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational demands.
