Key Responsibilities:
As the IP Legal Billing Coordinator, your primary duties will include:
1. Managing all facets of intellectual property billing, ensuring precision and adherence to client guidelines.
2. Collaborating with attorneys to review and modify pre-bills, implementing necessary adjustments.
3. Overseeing Work-In-Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) reporting.
4. Coordinating with various departments to address billing inquiries and resolve issues.
5. Establishing and maintaining billing schedules.
6. Assisting in the creation of financial reports and analyses.
7. Ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing.
8. Keeping abreast of the latest intellectual property laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. At least 5 years of experience in legal billing, with a focus on intellectual property.
2. Proven track record in managing WIP and A/R reporting.
3. Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with attorneys and stakeholders.
4. Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
9. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
