**Job Summary**

The Concessions Cook is a key member of our team responsible for preparing high-quality food for our concessions stands. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food products to order or keep warm until sold.
  • Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items, ensuring food is fresh and of high quality when served to guests.
  • Control portion sizes and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand.
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, fryolators, steamers, and ovens.
  • Be knowledgeable about the products being served and ensure all work areas and equipment are clean and sanitized.
  • Check out with direct supervisor and/or management to ensure the concession stand meets cleanliness standards.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, respectful manner.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently as a productive member of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a 90% availability requirement for scheduled events.
