About the Role

We are seeking a Part Time Sales Associate to join our team at American Greetings. As a sales associate, you will be responsible for servicing stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders, displaying product within greeting card departments and other retail locations, maintaining an organized backroom areas, and other inventory tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
  • Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
  • Maintain an organized backroom area
  • Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules
  • Work in a fast-paced retail environment utilizing effective time management skills and organizational skills
Requirements
  • No experience necessary, we will train you
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations
  • Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates
  • Technological competency-able to learn and use company provided tablet for training and daily activity/tasks
Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay is $14.90 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment. After 6 months of employment, the pay rate will increase to $15.70, and after 1 year of continued employment, the pay rate will increase to $16.50. We offer flexible work scheduling and paid training. Availability for additional working days and extended hours leading up to and immediately following major holidays is required.
