We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead our water management projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team at The Great Lakes Construction Co., a 100% employee-owned company.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $95,000 to $115,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Project Director, you will oversee project start-up, scheduling, billing, contract interpretation, and cost control. You will also be responsible for managing project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote safety, quality, efficiency, and core values
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery
  • Supervise project buyout with estimators
  • Perform and oversee submittals and RFI processes
  • Lead planning meetings and attend progress meetings
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer
  • 5+ years in heavy civil construction with W/WWTP experience
