About the Role

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success of the branch, including sales growth, budgeting, and customer service. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all branch personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and control costs, including inventory, equipment, and operating expenses.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate sales promotion activities and maintain a clean and attractive store.
  • Participate in market and competitor analysis and annual sales forecasting.
  • Lead and promote safety, and enforce safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in sales and distribution of industrial gases and welding supplies, with at least two years of management experience.
  • Strong retail sales and customer service skills, with knowledge of welding applications and equipment a plus.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with good organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people, promoting a team player attitude.
