Job Summary

The Cherrelyn Healthcare Center is seeking a skilled Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our therapy department. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients and other healthcare professionals to provide rehabilitative care and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under your care, including exercises and activities to improve strength, balance, and mobility.
  • Observe and document patients' progress, and instruct patients and family members on proper techniques for exercises and equipment use.
  • Communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, and maintain clean and organized treatment areas.
  • Adhere to all healthcare and safety standards, and participate in regular training and educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • State licensure as a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy techniques, principles, and practices.
  • Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform repetitive tasks.
