Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Supervisor RN to join our team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. As a key member of our Nursing Service Administration team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of our medical center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume medical center operational accountability for a specified shift, ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing department and ancillary services.
  • Supervise and manage a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient throughput, meet key performance indicators, and deliver safe and effective patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with charge nurses, ancillary department supervisors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve patient flow.
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to senior leadership to enhance departmental operations.
  • Provide verbal and written feedback to Service Line Director/Nurse Managers/Assistant Nurse Managers/Department Director as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary committees and task force committees to advance nursing practice and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.
