About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound MFM Technologist to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a diagnostic medical sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient anatomy and physiology to determine the best course of action for ultrasound procedures.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images and spectral waveforms.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Document patient data and examination results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technologies and techniques.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
  • Current certification in obstetrics (OB) and fetal echocardiography (FE) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • One year of experience in obstetric ultrasound or a related field.
