Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to enhance our expanding Interventional Radiology APP service line. This hybrid position encompasses both inpatient procedural responsibilities and outpatient management, including consults at various Emory facilities.
The work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, with no weekend, overnight, or on-call duties required.
The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 3 years of procedural experience as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, with a strong preference for prior experience in Interventional Radiology.
This is a distinctive opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated Provider team and to grow within a dynamic environment.

Role Responsibilities
We are looking for a full-time Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to fill a specialized procedural and consultative role within our Interventional Radiology team. This position involves patient care across multiple Emory facilities.
Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner candidates: Must be Acute Care certified (ACNP or AGACNP).
- Assist in evaluating and treating patients.
- Document care delivery in medical records.
- Conduct patient interviews and document histories, including psychosocial factors and medical issues.
- Perform physical examinations and specialized procedures under physician supervision, such as wound care and diagnostic tests.
- Support physicians in diagnosing conditions, formulating care plans, and prescribing treatments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Possession of relevant state licensure.
- At least one year of direct experience in high-acuity clinical settings may be required.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS may be necessary in certain areas.
