McLaren USA is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our Medical Imaging Center team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures with minimal supervision. Your expertise will be essential in capturing high-quality images for our patients, while ensuring their comfort and confidence throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

* Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients, fostering a sense of comfort and confidence.
* Operate and maintain all assigned imaging department equipment, including X-Ray machines.
* Position patients and use radiologic equipment to capture accurate images as requested by physicians.
* Perform imaging exams accurately, adhering to established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
* Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
* Maintain accurate documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
* Ensure an adequate supply of consumables for quality testing.
* Perform routine maintenance and function checks on imaging equipment, following established protocols.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology.
* Certification in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
* Current BLS certification.

Preferred:

* Associate degree in radiology.
