Behavioral Health Specialist

U.S. Medical Staffing, Inc. is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to provide therapeutic support to children in various settings. As a key member of our team, you will implement clinical interventions from a behavioral treatment plan to assist children in making positive and sustainable changes.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized, one-to-one ABA support to children/adolescents with behavioral disorders across all settings (school, home, and community).
- Implement individualized behavioral interventions based on the treatment plan goals created by an ABA Behavior Consultant (BC-ABA).
- Contribute to the development of the treatment plan through input and feedback.
- Manage crises and provide support to clients, including prevention, de-escalation, and processing of strategies to support improved client functioning.
- Adhere to CASSP principles and demonstrate knowledge and utilization of trauma-informed practices.
- Implement all documentation requirements and ensure staff adherence to prescribed formats.
- Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, criminal justice, or a similar human service field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services and completion of a minimum of 40 hours of training covering the RBT related to ABA approved by the Department of Human Services (DHS) or provided by a continuing education provider approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in the provision of behavioral health services.
- Knowledge of crisis management techniques and CASSP principles.
- Completed 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification training curriculum prior to hire or within 6 months of start date.
- Current CPR Certification and First Aid Certification.
- Competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
