Job Opportunity: PT Geospatial Technology Instructor

Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Part-Time Geospatial Technology Instructor. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to teach GIS and Geospatial Technology courses, develop and implement curriculum, and contribute to the growth and success of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach GIS and Geospatial Technology courses to students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to ensure student success.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Geospatial Technology, GIS, or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in a higher education setting, preferably in a community college environment.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial concepts, technologies, and applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
