As a Principal Consultant at Computacenter, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to visionary companies worldwide. Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing single and multi-vendor technology solutions.
  • Acting as a technical lead in technology solutions by mentoring, leading a team on larger projects, and reviewing deliverables.
  • Presenting technology topics at internal education sessions, industry user group meetings, and/or conferences.
  • Operating as a subject matter expert by recommending new technologies, best practices, and tools that support the growth of the business.
  • Liaising between pre-sales and delivery teams.
  • Providing design, deployment, and implementation services of single or multi-vendor solutions.
  • Providing input into bid, project, and technical documents.
  • Handling issues escalated by Consultants and Lead Consultants and leading a project team.

Requirements
  • 15+ years of professional experience in large enterprise environments.
  • Ability to assess customer environments, make design and solution recommendations, and troubleshoot multi-vendor issues.
  • Ability to lead and organize a large virtual technical team, with good negotiation skills and people management skills.
  • Solid understanding of the OSI model, routing and switching protocols, network security, IPv4 networking, subnetting, and operational experience.
  • Experience with Cisco DNA Center deployments.
  • Experience with multiple wireless vendor designs and deployments.
  • Demonstrated confidence to deliver customer-facing discussions.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Bonus Points
  • Professional networking certifications (ex: CCNP/CCIE or equivalent).
  • Deployment experience with one or more of the following: Cisco, Fortinet, Mist, Aruba.
