Maximize Logistics Efficiency

GXO Logistics is seeking a skilled Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for enforcing security and loss prevention policies and procedures to provide a safe and secure environment for our employees, clients, and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol all areas of the facility by foot and vehicle as required
  • Monitor security cameras and conduct daily physical hazard inspections
  • Defuse disturbances and escort individuals from the property if necessary
  • Conduct initial investigation reports and gather evidence as directed by security leadership
  • Walk through and around the exterior of the facility conducting safety hazard and security audits
  • Complete incident reports related to security and in collaboration with security leadership
  • Maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge and experience with security systems

It would be great if you also have:

  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and/or weekends
  • 1 year of security or loss prevention experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience
  • The self-motivation to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time and tolerate weather elements, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind
