We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director for Campus Design to lead our campus design efforts. This is a key leadership role that will oversee the development and implementation of design standards for our campus properties.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement design standards for campus properties, including architectural, materials, systems, and landscape focus.
- Partner with project teams to evaluate and select design business partners (architects, landscape architects, and other selected consultants).
- Evaluate, guide, and enhance design processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Perform specific design review and project advising for project and client teams.
- Oversee studies and evaluations to inform design decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Licensure as an architect in New Hampshire or the ability to obtain by reciprocity within one year.
- 10 years of experience in planning and design in a campus environment, with a focus on developing design standards and managing design processes.
- Experience and certifications in sustainability or high-performance buildings.
- Valid driver's license and ability to qualify as a Dartmouth Approved Driver.
- Master's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in planning and design in a campus environment, with a focus on managing both the built and natural environment.
