Job Title: Supervisor, Adult Pulmonary Critical Care Advanced Practice

OU Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Provider Supervisor to join our team in the Adult Pulmonary Critical Care department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical and administrative aspects of our APPs, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of APPs, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and OU Health's mission and values.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of APPs, providing feedback and coaching to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pulmonary critical care, ensuring our APPs have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in one of the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse areas (CNS, CRNA, CNP, or CNM) or Master's degree in Physician Assistant/Associate Studies.
  • At least 1 year of experience in clinical practice as an Advanced Practice Provider and 1-3 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
  • APRN and RN licensure from Oklahoma Board of Nursing and board certification, or Current full licensure from Oklahoma Board of Medicine and board certification.
