Job Summary

This role will oversee multiple projects and responsibilities, serving as the Company's representative on project teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for management oversight of assigned projects, coordinating field labor, material, and equipment to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including General Contractors and Owners.
  • Significant experience with Security products or Fire Alarm solutions is required.
  • Responsible for project management and has the authority to utilize all available company resources to meet project goals.
  • Meet or exceed established annual revenue expectations.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with Contractors and Subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all assigned projects to measure and document progress and results.
  • Develop baseline schedules for projects to reflect accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontract time requirements and project constraints.
  • Expedite, negotiate, and approve project changes.
  • Approve decisions concerning project cost, time, and performance based on an agreed-upon baseline plan requirements.
  • Report financials on a weekly basis to ensure projects remain under budget and on time.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of project management experience in the low voltage construction industry, specifically with Fire Alarm or Security.
  • Ability to construct structured cabling, security, fire alarm, or other low voltage systems.
  • Basic understanding of construction costs, accounting, scheduling, estimating, and engineering principles and techniques.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel computer skills.
  • Ability to perform basic capabilities within Bluebeam Software.
