Senior PM - Municipal

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide comprehensive civil engineering services for municipal projects. Our team of municipal engineers serves as Engineers of Record, and the Municipal services include CIP design and construction specifications; as-builts for new construction and facility improvements; coordinating with state/federal agencies; facility planning; funding strategies and cost estimates; grant applications and securing project funding; and providing plan reviews. Our municipal projects primarily focus on water and sewer utilities, stormwater management, watershed planning, road and sidewalk design, parks and trails, public works facilities, stream restoration, environmental restoration, and parking lots/structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices in broad areas.
  • Proven success in business development.
  • Develop new clients and projects and participate in the development of proposals and interviews as required.
  • Use advanced techniques and practices in the civil engineering field.
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct multiple projects of multiple sizes concurrently.
  • Must be capable of developing scopes of work, schedules, and fees and be capable of coordinating staff and sub-consultants for project success.
  • Has the ability to successfully manage projects for budget and schedule.
  • Must serve as a technical advisor to other staff.
  • Must coordinate and manage client requests and needs.
  • Reviews design and production deliverables ensuring industry standard of care and compliance with standards and policies.

Requirements:

  • BS - Civil Engineering
  • Washington State PE
  • Fifteen or more years of experience in Civil Engineering
  • Demonstrated business development and client management experience
