Job Summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in a private duty setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each pediatric patient.
  • Clinical Judgment: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members to identify potential nursing diagnoses and develop effective plans of care.
  • Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient information, including nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions, and communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Interventions and Revisions: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies, and revise the plan of care as needed based on evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrate clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs, establish priorities, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Health Certificate and PPD: Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation) and Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Certifications and Experience: Current BLS card and one year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Specialized Skills: G-tube, Trach, Pediatric care.
  • Schedule and Availability: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Sunday - Saturday night shifts from 7pm -7am.
