About the Role

Scripps Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Services Department as a Supervisor. This is a full-time, salaried position located at Scripps Mercy San Diego Campus in Hillcrest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, ensuring the safe transition of patients through the continuum of care.
  • Active participation of nursing staff in planning and coordinating patient care, and direct hand-off to next appropriate level of care.
  • Supervise and lead a team of RNs, ensuring the best patient experience.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Two years of Emergency Services (ED) clinical experience, one of which in a leadership role.
  • Graduate of an accredited program.
  • Current CA State RN license.
  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within the first 6 months.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in ER.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • TNCC certification.
