In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering yoga programs that cater to the specific needs of our clients. Your expertise in yoga instruction, trauma-sensitive teaching methods, and ability to create a safe and supportive environment will be vital in helping our clients overcome their challenges.
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $70,000 - $90,000, based on industry standards and the location in West Haven, CT. This figure may vary depending on qualifications, experience, and performance.
To excel in this role, you will require a strong educational background in yoga instruction, certification through a Yoga Alliance e-RYT 200 or equivalent program, and at least two years of teaching experience. A RYT 500 or C-IAYT certification is also desirable. Your experience working with patients who have chronic pain, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, insomnia, depression, drug addiction, or anger issues is essential, as is training in trauma-informed yoga and experience working with military or veteran populations.
