APP - Advanced Practice Provider - Inpatient Neurology
Job Summary:OU Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Inpatient Neurology team. As an APP, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to patients in a dual role of outpatient and/or inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, diagnose, treat, manage, educate, and coordinate care for patients and families with acute and chronic health needs.
- Work with administrative, nursing, physician, and university faculty to ensure safe, effective, and quality patient care.
- Provide care within your scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, regulations, and institutional policy and practice agreements.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing (if APRN) or Master's in Physician Assistant Services.
- 3 or more years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in designated specialty preferred.
- Must have prescriptive authority within 6 months of hire.
- Active RN and APNP license in State of Oklahoma (if Nurse Practitioner).
- Active PA license in State of Oklahoma (if Physician Assistant).
