At Developmental Services Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional support to individuals and families in need. As a Part-time Respite Caregiver, you will play a vital role in our mission to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

About the Role:

As a Respite Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one support to children and adults with developmental disabilities, helping them to develop essential life skills and promoting their independence. Your role will involve:

  • Providing direct support and care to individuals in their homes or community settings.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encouraging socialization and community involvement through recreational activities and outings.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Sufficient physical stamina and mobility for lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
  • Reliable transportation with adequate insurance to cover transport of supported individuals.

Working Hours:
