Job Title: Fitness Instructor - Cycle Program

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to lead our Cycle Program at Golds Gyms of the Carolinas. As a Cycle Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging fitness experience for our members, while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Class Preparation: Arrive at least 10 minutes before class to set up equipment, interact with members, and answer questions.
  • Class Leadership: Introduce yourself, explain the class format, and ensure all participants are using correct form.
  • Member Engagement: Continuously monitor participants, offer variations of the routine, and create a motivational and fun environment.
  • Post-Class Responsibilities: Remove equipment, return the room to its original state, and answer any questions or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Education and Certification: Group fitness certification by ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or specialized certifications such as Zumba, Strong, Les Mills, or Silver Sneakers.
  • Experience: At least six months teaching in a group exercise format.
  • Skills: Knowledge of safe exercise technique, group exercise principles, basic physiology, and body mechanics.
