This role is based in an office environment and requires local candidates who can engage effectively with various stakeholders.

The selected candidate will take charge of the budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and reporting processes related to property taxes. A strong background in an FP&A setting, along with advanced Excel capabilities and the ability to liaise with different departments, tax authorities, and executive management, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of property tax budgeting, forecasting, compliance, variance analysis, and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive property tax database along with relevant reporting tools.
  • Prepare and distribute reports while engaging with senior leadership and various departments to resolve inquiries.
  • Work collaboratively with the Property Tax Department to design and manage property tax budgets and strategic initiatives.
  • Track forecasts, actual results, and variances from the budget, providing insights and reports on discrepancies and projections.
  • Engage directly with multiple property tax jurisdictions to ensure timely and accurate completion of compliance tasks.
  • Assist the Appeal Group by supplying necessary documentation and resources for property tax appeals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an FP&A department or a comparable role with significant exposure to budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and presentations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in business intelligence tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams is preferred.
