Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Engineering: The primary mission is to ensure equipment maintainability by providing parts lists, repair and inspection procedures, and methods that support Maintenance Planners and Skilled Trades.
  • Engage daily with Plant Maintenance Teams.
  • Develop and enhance Equipment Inspection Plans and Predictive Monitoring to identify service wear and potential failure conditions promptly.
  • Acquire and apply in-depth technical knowledge of Plant Equipment through manuals, specifications, and OEM interactions.
  • Translate technical information into clear, actionable Task, Resource, and Procedure documents for Planners and Skilled Tradesmen.

Reliability Engineering:
The key mission is to minimize Plant Equipment failures, downtime, and costs.

  • Enhance the reliability of critical equipment and systems through engineered improvements, operational care, and asset care strategies.
  • Lead initiatives to improve process systems reliability.
  • Develop and execute small to medium-sized reliability-focused capital expenditure projects.
  • Own and manage asset care strategies, lubrication, and predictive maintenance technology programs.
  • Support the creation and ongoing maintenance of Plant Equipment Standards.
  • Provide reliability support for new capital equipment and ensure integration into asset structures and care plans.
  • Transform job execution feedback into improved procedures and inspection criteria.
  • Deliver engineering solutions for component and equipment obsolescence.
  • Manage execution metrics criteria for Operations and Maintenance Team utilization.
  • Maintain the technical information repository for equipment.
  • Assist in capital project equipment selection and spare parts alignment with existing standards.

About You:
We seek engineers who are committed to excellence and eager for increased responsibilities.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Plant Maintenance and Reliability Engineering or a similar technical role.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills for complex technical issues using formal evaluation techniques.
  • Experience in organizing and implementing projects that enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis and predictive maintenance technologies, including vibration analysis and infrared.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Basic knowledge of control systems and their integration with mechanical assets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in continuous industrial processing is preferred.
  • Proficient in SAP Maintenance or other EAM/CMMS systems.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or related engineering field.
