Parking Lot Service Associate Position at Hilton Santa Clara

The Parking Lot Service Associate is tasked with guiding and assisting guests as they navigate between the parking area and the hotel entrance, ensuring a courteous and professional experience. This role involves addressing guest inquiries and fulfilling requests promptly. It is an on-call part-time position.

Compensation: $20/hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Greet arriving guests and assist departing guests with professionalism while managing parking lot duties.
  2. Maintain familiarity with guest room arrival and departure schedules.
  3. Possess comprehensive knowledge of hotel amenities and local attractions.
  4. Stay informed about events occurring in the hotel and surrounding areas.
  5. Understand group activities and functions scheduled at the hotel on a daily basis.
  6. Conduct patrols of the hotel parking area as required.
  7. Oversee the cleanliness of the porte cochere and parking lot.
  8. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and that supplies are adequately stocked.
  9. Provide accurate responses to guest inquiries and resolve issues swiftly to guarantee satisfaction.
  10. Assist guests with directions and utilize computers for mapping purposes.
  11. Collaborate with other departments as necessary.
  12. Foster a spirit of teamwork among staff members.
  13. Participate in departmental and inter-departmental meetings.
  14. Communicate relevant shift-related information to management.
  15. Be knowledgeable about all hotel emergency protocols.
  16. Maintain a safe working environment by keeping areas free of hazards and performing duties efficiently.
  17. Strive for complete guest satisfaction.
  18. Follow the instructions of supervisors and undertake additional assigned tasks.
