Role Responsibilities:
The Environmental Remediation Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for managing quality control processes for various projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing quality assurance for environmental restoration and construction initiatives.
- Executing contractor quality control duties while coordinating all QC activities to prevent delays.
- Interpreting project specifications and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Reviewing contract drawings and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Documenting and validating the conformity of materials and equipment.
- Compiling daily quality control reports and ensuring timely inspections.
- Conducting site inspections to identify and resolve issues.
- Facilitating communication among stakeholders and team members.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in environmental restoration or construction, with at least 2 years in quality assurance/control.
- A degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Ability to obtain necessary clearances for federal projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of risk management practices.
- Certification in USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors.
- Experience as a Site Superintendent.
- Engagement in federal projects and completion of safety training.
Travel Requirements:
This position requires full-time travel, with provisions for per diem and lodging, including a company vehicle.
Compensation:
The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
