Job Title: Field Service Technician II

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician II to join our team. As a Field Service Technician II, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, installing, and repairing complex electrical equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including Trace, Checkpoint Smartlane, Whole Body Imager, X-Ray, CT X-Ray, and Cargo Inspection systems.
  • Install and deploy new equipment, ensuring proper configuration and testing.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Document all work performed, including service issues, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and tools, up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to customer sites.
