Job Summary

As a Train Conductor with IB Parks & Entertainment, you will be responsible for operating the Iron Horse Train while providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit professional demeanor and model behaviors at all times
  • Deliver guest excellence by being knowledgeable about the attractions and park
  • Maintain constant attention and focus while operating the train
  • Enforce participant requirements and attraction rules
  • Execute emergency procedures, including crowd control, as necessary
  • Communicate effectively via public address systems, radios, and telephones
  • Protect company assets through proper use of tools and equipment and adherence to cleanliness and organization standards
  • Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned by leadership, including operating other attractions as required
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to initiate and maintain interactions with guests
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and efficiently manage time and work without direct supervision
  • Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, squat, stoop, push, pull, twist, and reach above shoulders
  • Ability to work in an environment with high levels of noise and vibrations
  • Ability to work in high-stress situations
  • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check
  • Must have reliable transportation
