Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist

About the Job:

West Pak Avocado is seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that our inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory and supplies according to company guidelines
  • Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock
  • Forklift operator
  • Off load material upon receipt and store away
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle times
  • Review documentation and monitor products to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
  • Stock and issue materials or merchandise
  • Delivery of material to production line
  • Prepare Material for Transfers
  • Track accuracy of purchase orders and returns as well as defective items
  • Scan packing slips/invoices into database
  • Oversees Box forming
  • Maintenance on box formers
  • Assists with General Maintenance at facility

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 Years Forklift Experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Must be able to work in a warehouse and office setting
  • Basic computer skills - word, excel, and outlook
  • Must be bilingual (Spanish)
  • Detail-oriented
  • High problem-solving ability

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a warehouse and office setting
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs, with or without assistance

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
