We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Coordinator to join our team at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and coordinating with medical management teams to ensure the safe and effective treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and quality treatment to all patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Assist medical management teams in coordinating patient care, including developing and implementing care plans.
- Lead and mentor employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Work collaboratively with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective treatment of patients.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Five years clinical experience in applicable nursing area (unit specific) preferred; Charge nurse experience preferred.
- Current Texas RN License
- CPR (American Heart Association)
- ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer date
- CPI within 90 days of hire/transfer date, TNCC within 18 months of hire/transfer date, ENPC or PALS within 18 months of hire/transfer date, and NIHSS within 90 days of hire/transfer date.
