Job Overview

Collections and Credit Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Collections and Credit Analyst to join a dynamic organization. This role involves evaluating the creditworthiness of both new and existing clients while effectively managing the collection of overdue accounts within your assigned portfolio. This is a Temp to Hire position offering a competitive hourly wage between $21 and $25.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the credit profiles of prospective commercial clients.
  • Perform risk evaluations and compile comprehensive credit assessments.
  • Track the financial health and payment behaviors of current clients.
  • Oversee accounts receivable to pinpoint overdue accounts.
  • Reach out to clients with outstanding balances to negotiate payment arrangements or recover overdue funds.
  • Employ various methods to locate clients who have changed their contact details.
  • Keep precise records of communications, attempts to contact, and payments received.
  • Address customer inquiries and issues related to billing matters.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of outstanding accounts and repayment efforts.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit and collections.
  • An associate degree or higher in business is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with an ERP accounting system.
