Job Summary:

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Lead Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for fostering an environment of hospitality for residents and guests, ensuring the accuracy of diets and meal service, and working alongside Dietitians, Managers, and Chefs to prepare food for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster an environment of hospitality for residents and guests
  • Ensure the accuracy of diets and meal service
  • Work alongside Dietitians, Managers, and Chefs to prepare food for residents
  • Prepare and serve therapeutically correct diets while following established menu guidelines
  • May perform some short order cooking for meal service
  • Enforce all policies and ensure regulatory guidelines for safe food handling and sanitation are in place

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a food or healthcare setting
  • ServeSafe Certification (or willing to obtain within the three-month introductory period)
