Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Medication Management: Help with medication reminders and administering prescribed medications.
  • Mobility Assistance: Aid with walking, transferring between bed and chair, and using mobility aids.
  • Meal Preparation: Plan, cook, and serve nutritious meals based on dietary needs and preferences.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and participate in recreational activities.
  • Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in health conditions, including vital signs if required.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of care activities, including medication administration and changes in health status.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3 years of caregiving experience required.
  • Location: Must be willing to work in Montgomery County South East.
  • Transportation: Own vehicle or reliable transportation required.
  • Health Tests: 2-step PPD (last 12 months) or chest X-ray (last 2 years) or QuantiFERON Gold Test.
Benefits
  • On-Call Pay Bonus: $25 per shift for being on call (not an hourly rate) plus regular hourly rate if called into work.
