Role Responsibilities

In this leadership role, you will:

  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate month-end journal entries.
  • Conduct intercompany account reconciliations.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements.
  • Assist in tax audits and the preparation of tax returns.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preferred certifications such as CMA or CPA.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior accounting position.
  • A solid understanding of fundamental accounting procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the closing process.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
